Canary records in home mode even with recording switched off


I got a notification and a video with canary in home mode.
This is a serious trust issue, since I switched off canary recording when in home mode, see screenshots.

I’m not in the beta programm.
My iphone is running ios10.3.3 and the latest app.


Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is definitely something we would like to investigate further, as our customer’s privacy is a top priority for us. I’m going to go ahead and open up a support ticket so we can gather some more information around this issue and investigate further.
